About Me:
As a native of the Tampa Bay area, I am well acquainted with its rich history and culture, as many of my relatives came here from Sicily, Italy and settled in Old West Tampa and Ybor City just as many immigrants did during the early 1900's. My parents were both hard working business owners who taught my sisters and me the hard work ethics they learned from their parents. I graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Education in 1984 and married my sweetheart, Jim Hunter, that same year. We raised our son Jake, who graduated from Saint Leo University, in the Tampa Palms community where we have lived and worked now for many years. I love Tampa and all it has to offer my family. The Tampa Bay area is a thriving metropolitan city with so much to offer all generations of people.
